Anita Lustrea

Authentic. That's the word heard over and over when people describe Anita. She is a popular conference and retreat speaker and an amazing communicator.  As former co-host of the award winning Midday Connection radio broadcast, Anita communicated a message of freedom daily to hundreds of thousands of listeners. Her deep desire is to nurture and care for people’s souls which she continues to do through her podcast Faith Conversations and as a Spiritual Director.

Anita is author or editor of  five books. Her favorites are "What Women Tell Me: Finding Freedom From The Secrets We Keep," And her first work of fiction, co-authored by Caryn Rivadeniera, "Shades of Mercy". As a native Mainer, Anita is especially proud of this book as it focuses on the plight of Native Americans in Maine in the 1950's.

Anita and her husband, Mike Murphy, make their home in the tropical paradise of Sarasota, Florida, where they frequent the beach and Anita’s favorite bird watching haunt, the Celery Fields.
